Old Style Italian food in a Casual, Comfortable Atmosphere

Bruschetta

Don’t let the strip mall setting fool you, this is a neighborhood joint that is worth the visit. We have been to Ristorante Guiseppe’s in Scottsdale, AZ twice now, and both times, the food was terrific! You know that it is a local place when the drinks are BYOB and they only take cash – no credit cards. Knowing that, we came ready with wine in hand and a recent trip to the local ATM!

Pasta e Fagioli

The food is best served family style as the dishes are plenty and that way you can share and taste several options. We started our meal with their Bruschetta that was nice and garlicy, topped with oodles of tomatoes and cheese on nice crusty bread. We shared their Guiseppe’s Salad tossed with a wonderful Italian vinaigrette and lots of goodies abound. Their Pasta e Fagioli was the best I’ve ever had! Creamy and full of flavor.

Stuffed Pepper

For mains, our table ordered Stuffed Peppers, Lobster Ravioli and Eggplant Parmigiana. We’re talking good old style comfort food. No pretense, no glitz and glamour. Just good honest food. The pasta was perfect, sauces were delish and everyone was enjoying every bite. No leftovers here!

Our service was attentive even though the place was hopping. Expect to become part of their family; that’s how it works there. Yes, this is definitely on our repeat list for Scottsdale. We will be back!
