I am retired from a fulfilling career in corporate America and am now following my passion of exploring the world of food. Over the years, I have studied culinary arts throughout the world, worked in many restaurants, catered parties & intimate dinners and taught cooking classes. My specialty is that I cook very eclectic and seldom repeat recipes, always in search of something new and exciting. I live in the Central Coast of California where wine is delicious and plentiful, a nice accompaniment to any meal! A few years back we put in a pizza oven so I am now familiar with the art of wood fire cooking and the wonderful flavors that it brings to food. We also added a small tiered garden area where I grow mostly herbs and tomatoes. I began my own enterprise called Devine Cookies, creating and selling savory wine pairing cookies. I am a Cottage Food Operation registered in the county of San Luis Obispo. I travel frequently and will be reviewing the many culinary stops along my journeys for both my blog and as a San Luis Obispo County – Yelp Elite.
Over the last few years I have been partnering with Talley Farms Fresh Harvest CSA to bring you recipes showcasing their incredible produce. Every week I publish something new so that I can continue to expand my food repertoire through recipe creation and testing. You can also find my recipes posted bi-weekly in the Tolosa Press – Coast News and in their magazines, Living Lavishly and Inspire Health. My goal is to share with you what I experience in the world of food and hope that it may bring you some new ideas and helpful information to assist you on your own culinary journey.
