Casual and Friendly, this Ranks as one of my Favorite Cabo trip Meals!

If you’re looking to venture out a bit when visiting Cabo, you can rent a car and take about an hour drive over to Todos Santos. It is a small coastal town at the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains, on the Pacific coast side of the Baja California Peninsula. The village of Todos Santos was initially founded as a Mission in 1724, and later became a major sugar-cane producer. Handicraft shops, owner-operated art galleries featuring landscape paintings of local scenes, upscale restaurants, boutique hotels and restored colonial buildings have contributed to the gentrification and redevelopment of the town.

It’s a fun place to take a stroll, shop and look around. At some point, you will get hungry and I highly suggest you visit Alma & Manny’s for a bite to eat. The staff is super friendly with Manny stepping in to greet and ensure that you are being well taken care of. You’ll find Alma in the kitchen preparing some beautiful fresh dishes of authentic Mexican food with her own personal flare. I was quite impressed with the food presentation and taste as well as our entire experience there.

As you can see from the photos, they take pride in their work, delivering colorful plates of tantalizing food. All of the vegetables and fruit are super fresh and not added as an afterthought as is sometimes done in restaurants.

Their Special Beef Soup of the day was abound with vegetables and tender meat in a delightful broth.

They served a medley of condiments to enhance the soup and customize it to your liking, along with their delicious fresh made tortillas!

Although we were too full for dessert, (and who eats dessert with lunch anyway?) Manny wouldn’t let us leave without trying their house made flan. Ok, so you don’t need dessert with lunch, but wow, was it delish!
