One of my favorite stops in Cabo San Lucas was our visit to Flora Farm for Sunday brunch. Flora Farm is a ten-acre organic farm in the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. It was about a 45 minute drive from our hotel and the directions were easy to follow. We elected to rent a car for the outing as it was less expensive than taking a cab with 6 passengers. It was well worth the trip. Finding a Farm to Table experience in Cabo San Lucas was a dream come true for me!
The setting was incredible and showcased their gardens of both edibles and foliage. They have several shops on site offering artwork, jewelry, gifts and sundries, all fun to peruse. The day was perfect as we sat in a beautiful surrounding with delightful weather listening to the warm tones of the live saxophone music. What could be better! Well maybe sipping on a cool drink.

Fresh, flavorful hibiscus juice – made martini that went down way too easy!
The Oysters were fresh and exquisite. The Salad was incredible with a light citrus vinaigrette and a wonderful assortment of the freshest ingredients ever!
We opted for pizzas all around and selected two different styles:
Bacon and Tomato made with House-cured Piloncillo Bacon & Cherry Tomatoes topped with the most wonderful fresh arugula salad dressed in a lemon vinaigrette. It was fantastic!!
The other pizza was their Fennel Sausage made with Mozzarella and shaved fennel. Also yummy!
A wonderful experience and the freshest of ingredients in a delightful assortment of dishes. We even stopped by their frozen yogurt stand on the way out for a small taste of a refreshing treat. It is definitely worth the drive as we were even tempted to come back and try their dinner menu. It will have to be next time…as we continued to explore other new destinations.
