We dined at many wonderful restaurants during our recent trip to Cabo San Lucas. The selection was varied and offered us a unique experience at each location. Nothing could top the Sunset Da Mona Lisa for setting and beauty. It is clearly the most romantic restaurant in Cabo San Lucas!
Giammarco Vela moved his family from Italy in 2002 to open the Sunset Da Mona Lisa Seafood & Italian Restaurant and offers traditional Italian cuisine with a simple but sophisticated preparation. Dining at this restaurant is a complete experience where the beauty of the setting along with their unsurpassed service and flavorful food creates a mixture of magic that you will never forget!

Succulent local prawns served in a blanket of filo dough fried crisp and served with two dipping sauces. Salad with Azul prawns, local avocado, romain lettuce, peaches with a shellfish scented mayonnaise.
Our mains were all delicious. I would rate them 4 out of 5 stars. Their were some items that were not cooked perfectly such as the pork dish that was slightly dry. Overall, the plating, accompaniments and taste was very good.
We couldn’t leave without trying out some of their sweets as well! Each was originally created with unusual presentations and were good, but not over the top. They also presented us with a complimentary dessert board with some small bites that were interesting…
Not every meal can hit the highest marks in every category. If you are looking for a wonderful experience and quite good food, Sunset Da Mona Lisa will certainly satisfy.
